About the Prancing Peacock
You will be surprised to find that although the studio is easily found on Stony Hill Road, in the busy Yardley, Pennslyvania area, it is hidden away down a long lane on 12 serene acres.
Your journey begins
Slow down. Open your windows; turn off the radio. Open your eyes to the beauty around you. Imagine yourself tracing the footsteps of early Quaker settlers.
A breathtaking vista of wildlife and nature opens before you. Blue Heron, mallard ducks, geese and their new families, as well as a variety of turtles make their homes here at this healthy pond. Groundhogs, deer, muskrats, and rabbits frequently cross the drive, so be aware.
As you continue, you will see a 1683 Bucks County Farmhouse, along with several out buildings. Follow the flagstone path to the studio, and enter a world of peace. This gentle space will envelope you in a warm atmosphere of polished Brazilian cherry floors, soft candlelight and a flowing yoga practice. In the winter, a fieldstone fireplace will warm you as snow gently covers the earth.
Listen to the call of roosters, guinea hens, and of course, our peacocks. You are welcome to stroll the grounds and enjoy this oasis, sitting by the pond, or walking through the wooded deer path. Enjoy a cup of tea or an elixir. Please take your time, there is no rush. As you make your way home, you will find yourself leaving with an open heart, a lighter spirit, and a smile.
